I first read this on the 9th April 2004 and most recently on the 1st June 2009

Well first of all this is a con, a trick, a perversion of publishing principles. Look at the review on the back cover

"It's one of the best SF novels of the year".

Ha!

And I bought it, like a fool.

What it is of course, is the two classic novels "The Peace War" and "Marooned In Realtime" republished as a single book - not a bad idea in itself - but there is no mention anywhere that this is the case. The cover -front and back - presents it simply as a single new novel.

Of course it's great, but that's beside the point, since I'd already bought the two novels it republishes.

Loaded on the 23rd March 2011.
