I first read this on the 14th March 2021.

This is the second novel in the "Themis Files" trilogy.

Another, and somewhat tougher looking robot, appears in the centre of London. Is it friend or foe?

Rose Franklin, Kara and Vincent struggle to find answers, and to protect Earth against alien invaders, with Kara and Vincent walking a giant robot around the globe.

I enjoyed this books almost as much as the "Sleeping Giants" but am finding the "files" format tiring. Still it has got big robots and big guns, aliens and flawed. What more could any normal person want?

Also, this proves Humanity's superiority over the aliens and that's something I approve of. However powerful these aliens are, they are clearly extremely dumb to design their robots with one pilot for the legs and one for the upper torso. Have you every been part of a 2-man donkey costume? How do you think you'd do in a fight? Let's do a comparison:

two-man donkey costume   versus     .

Just sayin'
