Random Acts Of Senseless Violence
Copyright 1993 by
Jack Womack
I first read this in 1997 and most recently in February 2001
{?twitch?}
Set in New York in the very near future, Lola's diary traces the decline
and fall of herself, her family and the society around her.
This is a powerful but heartbreaking novel. I felt for Lola,
her family and friends. Womack does a stunning job smoothly dragging
Lola from comfortable middle-class complacency to a very much harder
and tougher street-wise morality.
Read this.
Loaded on the 4th March 2001.
