Sadly, I can't remember when I read this book.

This is one of the books that really put me off short stories. In fact it's a collection of short stories by various authors. Indeed, some great stories by great authors. It includes one of Kate's short stories plus a two page introduction penned by her. All very nice. But the cover presents the book as a novel by Ms. Wilhelm. I recall being very angry as the false presentation. In fact, darn it, I still am!

I think I need a Tequila to calm myself down. I almost wished I still smoked.
